Meet Azalea…

After my first week of dancing, I told my parents. This caused a big problem between us and we basically had no relationship for almost three years. My dad was especially upset and he didn’t talk to me for two whole years. I come from a wealthy family, so my parents questioned why I would pick dancing to earn a living. I keep my job secret from the rest of the family, just to avoid upsetting them. Some of them think I work in bars as a traveling waitress, and that I also do photo shoots from time to time.

I’ve been a dancer now for eight years and my plan is to dance for another five. I’ve been volunteering at a nursing home for the past three years and my plan is to go to school and work with seniors full time.
